December 22st - This Week at Langstaff

Langstaff Gospel Hall

Christmas week is finally upon us! A time of family, friends, fellowship and food. But most importantly, a time of remembering and celebrating the birth of our Saviour. So often we say 'Jesus is the reason for the season'. As we give and receive, may we remember the gracious words of Mr. Clingen this Lord's Day morning - our Heavenly Father has given us all we need. He has given us the best gift we will ever receive - salvation. May we be thankful and rejoice over the wonder of His birth, life, death and resurrection.

This is important weekend for Langstaff Gospel Hall. The 24th and 25th of January are dates we should all be bringing before our unsaved contacts. There will two sessions of preaching preceeded by a community dinner. 5-7pm each night. The speakers will be brethren Michael Da Silva Jr., Bryan Joyce, Sam Moore and Andrew Ussher. Please find all the information on the link here

- PLEASE NOTE: There is no Wednesday meeting this week. It is Christmas Eve and many of the believers will be away or with family. The meeting will resume the week of the 27th of December.

- The Bethany Sing is Lord's Day 28th of December. There will be many away so if you are still in the city, please come along and enjoy a time of fellowship and singing with the residents.

- The Outreach weekend is the 24/25 of January. Keep these dates in your minds, hearts and prayers. It would be good to see a number of unsaved out.

- Please note the schedule for morning tea snacks each Sunday. Thanks to the young brethren who put a great effort into this weeks refreshment.

- Please keep the number of families travelling, in your prayers. There will be a number on the roads / in the air, so keep them before the Lord for journeying mercies and a safe holiday.

The prayer requests will now be circulated via the members section. Please click here to be redirected to the  prayer lists. It is good to be up to date with the prayer needs of the individuals in our assembly.

"Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints." Ephesians 6:18
