This past week at Langstaff was great and the one to come will be extremely busy. There is much to be thankful for and much to pray for as we move forward for the glory of God, and the good of His people.
There is much to be thankful for. Sometimes we can get so caught up in our business and activity that we forget to pause and wonder at the work that God is doing around us. Last week we mentioned that Kaitlynn was travelling home from Zambia and so we can be thankful that she has made it back safely to us. Additionally this week marked the last one of our Friday night gym outreaches for the school year. A big thanks goes out to all of those who participated in that outreach and we should thank God for all who came and enjoyed themselves and heard the wonderful message of our Saviour. As we give thanks we can also pray for Sam Moore who has left today (Monday) for Nicaragua. He will be visiting for two weeks.
This coming weekend is Easter weekend! It is one of the busiest weeks of our year and subsequently this week will be filled with preparation for the conference. If you're interested in reading a little bit about Easter you can click here. In light of this on Easter Sunday we will have an Easter program at the hall at Sunday School time. David Zuidema Jr. will be speaking at this event and dinner will be served following the program. If you have contacts or friends this would be a great time for them to join us.
- This week there will be no Wednesday night meeting in light of the conference
- Thursday night the Easter conference will start with a prayer meeting at Langstaff. Since Wednesday night is off we encourage all to make it out on Thursday night.
- Wednesday next week (Wed. April 23rd) there will be a cleaning at the hall starting at 7pm and all are encouraged to make it to that. If you didn't get a chance to fill out the sign up sheet just send a response in here and we will put you down.
- There is an article about the meaning of Easter here that you can use to share the story of Christ with your friends.
