Who We Are  ?

The following paragraphs are not an official charter or statement of beliefs. They are written simply to give those unfamiliar with us an idea of some Scriptural truths we hold when functioning as a local church that meets in Langstaff Gospel Hall.  

We are a company of baptized believers who gather regularly unto the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We meet in a building in Thornhill, Ontario called Langstaff Gospel Hall. The believers who make up the local company are Scripturally called a church. The term church does not refer to the building itself. We are an autonomous, self-governing group, unaffiliated with any religious denomination or organization.  

We are guided by a group of overseers/elders, raised up by the Holy Spirit, who are accountable to God alone for responsibility over the local church. We enjoy fellowship with other autonomous, like-minded, Scripturally-led assemblies throughout the world. We look to the Bible alone for guidance in all spiritual matters, including (but not limited to) God’s way of salvation, Christian living, and local church testimony.
